New England AAPOR is hosting a virtual roundtable on April 29,2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm EST to discuss the challenges and opportunities of polling historically difficult to reach populations, with a focused discussion on polling these communities ahead of the 2022 election. Panelists include Ray Block Jr., Janelle Wong, Gabrielle Sanchez, John Della Volpe, and Tatishe Nneta (moderator). In Case You Missed It
The NYAAPOR and Roper Center for Public Opinion Research webinar “Public Opinion, Racism and American Democracy” is now publicly available on YouTube. Panelists include Lawrence D. Bobo, Mark Hugo Lopez, and Janelle Wong, with Jennifer Agiesta serving as moderator. This event was held and recorded on November 10, 2021.
A recording of the 2021 PAPOR Conference paper session “A Closer Look at Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)” is also now publicly available. The session, originally held on December 1st, 2021, features the following presentations: “The Impact of the Pandemic on LGBT Adults” (Sparks and Kirzinger); “The Promises and Realities of DEI in Corporate America (Cardazone), and “Framing Inspirational Content in News Media” (Moore, Green, Fitzgerald, & Paravati).
