To outside appearances, the summer is usually a quiet time for AAPOR. For our conference goers, the work they put into conference…from paper presenting to networking to learning from others…has wound down, and there is breathing room before thinking about what to present and research for the next conference.

The web survey, hosted by Survey Monkey, was fielded just after the AAPOR conference from May 24 to June 20, 2018. The survey was sent to 2,238 AAPOR members. A total of 815 AAPOR members responded (partially or completely) for an AAPOR RR2 of 36.4%.

Member Spotlight: University of Wisconsin Survey Center
Since 1987, the University of Wisconsin Survey Center (UWSC) has provided high quality research design and data collection services for researchers at the University of Wisconsin, other universities, and the state and federal government. 

Hello AAPOR members! I am delighted to bring you greetings from the Southern Chapter of AAPOR (SAPOR). SAPOR includes 14 states spanning from Virginia all the way down to Texas. While many of our members are located in Raleigh/Durham, NC where the chapter began 40 years ago, the SAPOR board has been actively recruiting more members from the rest of the states in our region while also working on adding to our member benefits and networking opportunities.
